The charm of the Côte d’Azur

The village of Grasse,

yours to explore from our luxury hotel

Nestled in the hills above Cannes in the Alpes-Maritimes department, the world capital of perfume Grasse shines brightly with all the colours of Southern France, standing tall over the fields of lavender, roses, jasmine, mimosas, and olive trees.

Set off around the medieval town of Grasse, following the brass emblems which mark the route around the historic centre. During your stroll along the winding roads, you can admire the Cathédrale Notre-Dame du Puy, the Palais de l’Evêque and the remains of a feudal dungeon, all 13th-century buildings, as well as the superb villas and townhouses. Take the time to relax in one of Grasse’s picturesque squares. From the Cours Honoré-Cresp and the Jardins de la Princesse Pauline, there are splendid views over the coast and the Massif de l’Esterel. Grasse also lies on one of the greatest roads in France, the Route Napoléon, which starts in Golfe-Juan and ends in Grenoble.

To find out more about the history of perfume, visit the Musée International de la Parfumerie before visiting some famous perfume houses - Fragonard, Galimard and Molinard.
